FVK – Return To Roots 8“

Though both e.p.s were released in 1988, Return To Roots is stylistically a bit different from the Target e.p. First of all the recording quality is better, but most of all the song writing has evolved and is now closer to actual Bad Brains worship. The tempos are less frantic, plus there are more melodies and guitar leads. Also there are the Bad Brains allusions in the song titles and then there’s -obviously- the cover of Rock For Light.

Do they care what you may say? Have they got that attitude?

You caught me with this one – never knew it existed! Anyways, I found my FVK EP’s back in the BraveNewWorld blog so it’s Roilo’s fault, hahaha.
In 1988 these Bad Brains fans released more EP’s than you mention – 2The girl who rapes boys“ and the remixed „Target“ (with a new sleeve too).
The band is OK; but to my ears, they have a lack of tightness rhythmwise that makes them not the best BB’s pupils precisely. But I like them anyway. Oh! and thanks! :)

You‘re right about the other releases, but I don‘t own them so I wouldn‘t know what to say about them.
